Columbia County WiFi

WiFiIf you, like me, have been looking in Columbia County (Scappoose, St. Helens, Rainier, Clatskanie) for places to connect to the Internet and get some work done, here is an incomplete list. Please feel free to comment with other suggestions:

  • Coffee Bar and Eatery (next to Scappoose Fred Meyer)
    • Great connection
    • Great atmosphere (distracting, but non-commercial, music feed)
    • Good food and coffee (free refills)
    • Closes at randomly (hard to track)
  • Fred Meyer
  • Quick Lube
    • Oil change, Latte, and WiFi
    • Friendly atmosphere, but missing plugins
    • Great prices
  • Scappoose Adventist School
    • Access from parking lot only (not for public, but unsecured)

    • Noisy
    • Lots of food and drink choices (including Starbucks)

    • Quaint atmosphere
    • Coffee and drinks available
    • Close at 5:30pm
    • Children’s play area
    • Friendly
  • Joe’s Coffee CLOSED (for sale)

    • Coffee and food (free coffee refills)
    • Neighborhood hangout atmosphere
    • Closes at 3pm
